As a mom of four children with sensory differences, autism, and feeding challenges, I understand the worry that can come with every meal.
For more than 24 years, I've spent countless hours researching nutrition, testing recipes, hiding vegetables, experimenting with textures, and trying to find ways to help my children get the nutrients they need while still respecting the foods that feel safe to them.
I know what it's like to worry when your child only eats a handful of foods.
I know what it's like to feel judged when people say, "Just make them eat it."
I know what it's like to celebrate a single bite of a new food while other people don't understand why that moment feels so important.
That's why I'm creating Safe Foods, Strong Kids.
This is more than a cookbook.
